Letter from E.B. De Lany, July 21, 1922, East Orange, New Jersey/Fernandina, Florida

Title

Letter from E.B. De Lany, July 21, 1922, East Orange, New Jersey/Fernandina, Florida

Subject

Christianity and Churches

Description

The author solicits financial support for establishing mission stations in Liberia, as part of "Africa for Christ" campaign. The letter was presumably directed to Eartha M.M. White, but does not bear her name as recipient and may be a generic letter of appeal. Written on letterhead with an address of East Orange, New Jersey, the letter appears to have been sent from Fernandina, Florida, which, according to the handwritten note at the bottom, seems to have been the temporary place of residence of the sender.
