A hands–on workshop designed to introduce faculty and staff to the concept of Story Maps, a tool for narrating experiences and communicating research results through the use of images and geographical data. No previous experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) is required. Participants should bring a selection of related digital images (preferably ones that are geotagged) corresponding to different locations. Led by Chris Baynard of Economics and Geography, and sponsored by the UNF Digital Humanities Initiative in collaboration with CIRT. Seating is limited, so please register early.
