Electrifying English

"Electrifying English" is the annual showcase of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society. This event will feature electronic projects by UNF faculty and students from English and other departments. From 3:00-4:00, Dr. Stephanie Vie, Associate Professor of Writing and Rhetoric and Director of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Central Florida, will speak on social media and professional communication. The digital showcase will take place 4:00-5:00.

Workshop: Introduction to TEI–XML

A hands–on workshop designed to introduce participants to TEI–XML, the standard today for textual encoding in the Humanities. This session is intended for faculty and staff interested in editing and publishing literary or historical documents in an electronic format. We will cover the basics of TEI–XML, as well as the use of TEI Boilerplate as a method for getting started publishing encoded documents on the web. Workshop: Introduction to Story Maps
