A Selection from a Corrected Typescript of Majorie Kinnan Rawlings' novel The Yearling

This edition presents a portion of a typed manuscript of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings's 1938 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Yearling, held at the University of Florida George A. Smathers Libraries. The project attempts to represent the author's process by making visible typed and hand-written changes and allows the user to explore and compare the various moments of revision.

This project was designed at the University of North Florida by English undergraduate Sarah Dumitrascu, with technical support from Clayton McCarl, associate professor of Spanish and Digital Humanities.
