               A most exquisite drawing and painting<lb/>
               hangs upon the bedroom wall at the <lb/>
               home of the artist's mother<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> <name type="place" subtype="address">2210 Myrtle<lb/>
                  <choice><abbr>Ave.</abbr><expan>Avenue</expan></choice></name><choice><orig/><reg>.</reg></choice> The picture<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> about four by six feet<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> is<lb/>
               done in colors and takes on the appearance<lb/>
               of a fine piece of tapestry with picture<lb/>
               woven into the cloth. It gave the writer<lb/>
               the impression of <choice><orig>^</orig><reg/></choice><add type="caret">some of the</add> <choice><orig>art work</orig><reg>artwork</reg></choice> which was<lb/>
               done by Grecians or Egyptians<choice><orig>,</orig><reg/></choice> and displayed<lb/>
               at <name type="event">A Century of Progress Exposition</name> in<lb/>
               <name type="place" subtype="city">Chicago</name> in <date when="1933">1933</date>. The artist<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> <name type="person">Benjamin<lb/>

               <choice><orig>High</orig><reg>high</reg></choice> <choice><orig>School</orig><reg>school</reg></choice>. Received instructions in drawing<lb/>
               and painting in public schools of <name type="place" subtype="city">New<lb/>
               York City</name>. Draws and paints for the love<lb/>
               of the art. His picture can be seen by<lb/>
