               or paint, has been done in oil by <name type="person"><choice><abbr>Prof.</abbr><expan>Professor</expan></choice><lb/>
               John Henry Adams</name>, a Georgian<choice><orig>,</orig><reg/></choice> born <lb/>
                near <name type="place" subtype="city"><ptr target="albany-ny"/>Albany</name>. As an artist<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> he is con<choice><orig>-</orig><reg/></choice><lb break="no"/>sidered
               equally as proficient in pen,<lb/>
               pencil, charcoal<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> and oil paintings.<lb/>
               Painted a <choice><orig>life size</orig><reg>life-size</reg></choice> picture of the late<lb/>
               <name type="person"><choice><abbr>Gen.</abbr><expan>General</expan></choice> W.W. Andrews</name>, Grand Chancellor<lb/>

               a livelihood<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> he indulges in the art<lb/>
               for the simple love of it. He was a<lb/>
