               as name implies<choice><orig/><reg>,</reg></choice> is “to plead intelligently the<lb/>
               cause of the many thousands of Negroes in<lb/>
               <name type="place" subtype="city"><ptr target="jacksonville-fl"/>Jacksonville</name> and the <choice><orig>State</orig><reg>state</reg></choice><choice><orig/><reg>.</reg></choice>" Its platform<lb/>
               is "<choice><orig>To</orig><reg>to</reg></choice> foster better citizenship<choice><orig>.</orig><reg>;</reg></choice> <choice><orig>To</orig><reg>to</reg></choice> encourage<lb/>
               race members to utilize the political, civic and<lb/>

               and the patronage of other businesses employing<lb/>
